Integrated learning and development program

Professional adults need to have their coaching and learning intentionally drafted, same as any other learning audience. Learning and Development practices such as Curriculum Development and Instructional Design are paramount to creating invested workforces and delivering world class programs. By incorporating tenants of Learning and Development through out an organization, leaders and staff are better able to grow and develop.

Establishing a basic understanding of adult learning (Andragogy) will further an organizations ability in getting their knowledge into the world in a way that is accessible and engaging. Building a strong learning philosophy is paramount to an equitable and just development practices across both internal staff and external programs.

This Program offers two parts:

  1. Workforce Development: Our first program priority focuses on the role and impact of learning and development programs and philosophies as a tool to advance workforce and organizational progress.

  2. Program Design: The second program priority is designing a program development and delivery model that is andragogically informed and based in learner focused design model for program creation and delivery.

Historically and currently learning spaces are rarely safe for individuals in bodies that are culturally marginalized. These experiences are carried into learning spaces when we ask staff to engage in learning in the workplace. In addition, our workspaces are steeped in racialized and oppressive practices. Individuals simply can not learn well when combatting these systems. While we can not undo past trauma, we can work to avoid the attitudes and systems that created it when developing our learning and development systems internally and externally across programs.

Service Levels

  • Audit

    Audit: This audit level refers to a stand alone audit done by The Work Well Studio with no additional services provided.

  • Coaching

    The Work Well Studio meets with the designated team to support their design and development.

  • Technical Assistance

    The Work Well Studio provides coaching along with materials, templates and resources to support the designated team.

  • Co-Creation

    The Work Well Studio serves as a consultant working along side the designated team actively to develop and/ or deliver services.
